How much does website maintenance cost?
The item that is most often forgotten when comparing quotes, and that will make the difference three years from now.
Website maintenance consists of hosting, security updates, backups, monitoring and minor content changes. With us, this is hosting from €19 per month and a service contract from €49 per month for changes and priority. Business email costs €6 per month. As a bundle you pay €69 instead of €74 separately.

Why our maintenance costs are low
We build without page builders and without plugins. That saves exactly the money that goes into a standard CMS: updates that break each other, outdated extensions and the security problems that ensue.
What remains is real maintenance: keeping the server up to date, checking backups, monitoring accessibility and occasionally adjusting text.

- SSL automatically renewed — expired certificates are the most common failure.

What to pay attention to when making quotes
Do not compare the construction price but the costs over three years. A cheap site with an expensive maintenance contract is more expensive than the other way around, and you only see this with the third annual invoice.
Pay particular attention to contract duration and notice period. The model of a low monthly price with a two-year contract is common in this market; In three years you will often pay more than for a purchased site and you will also be stuck.

Is maintenance mandatory?
Not with us. You can host your site elsewhere and manage it yourself; it's yours and runs on standard technology. We think it is wise for someone to monitor backups and accessibility, but that does not have to be us.
What if I want to change texts myself?
We build a management environment for components that you change weekly. The service contract is simpler for incidental changes: you email the new text and we make it live.
Why don't you charge a percentage of the construction price?
Because maintenance does not become more work the more expensive a site was. What determines the work is the number of changes and the complexity of the hosting, and we immediately praise that.
Can I cancel it?
Monthly. You will receive your files and database, and we will assist with the transfer without transfer costs.
